I think it is a K Mechanism Panasonic and if so the problem will be the loading motor is not being driven. The motor spindle drives a worm gear via a small plastic coupler that is inserted into the worm gear but the coupler is normally stuck to the spindle. As it is nolonger stuck as it will have split and so will not move resulting in no movement of the worm gear and no loading or intermittent no loading or unloading. A fault code is then displayed as a result.
You will compare the mechanism layout to your one to confirm type.
