Lexmark X1180 printer problems?

I have to restore my computer but couldnt find the disk so I downloaded from lexmark website. The printer works as tested it but not from the internet, and it says its printing from usb port? Its running on windows 2000, any suggestions please

Printer is printing off a letter but when l am trying to print off photos, says "please wait, getting ready to print" but nothing happens. When l click on Lexmark it tells me it is already open and to close it to continue. Not sure how to do that?
