Battery Problems Malagutti 100cc F12 Phantom?

I've got Malagutti 100cc F12 Phantom scooter and when I attach a fully charged battery to the bike and kick it off (electric start dont work) it runs for a few minutes and then the battery is fully drained. Does anyone have any ideas please?
