i have a problem with the filter on my steamworks genetator iron?

i have had the iron for about 2 months when the light started flashing for the filter to be changed, which i have now done but the light is still flashing although the filter has been changed to a new one

While the iron is off, Press the steam selection button at the same time as the power button. The filter light should switch off.
