How can I fix my Vax 6131?

My Vax 6131 is out of warranty and during use stopped pumping out cleaning fluid. It still sucks up fluid OK. Can anyone tell me what to do. Vax are useless and never reply to my requests for help.

my vax 6131 isnt letting water out but sucks up spills brilliant....how can i solve the problem so i can clean my carpet?

on the inside of the vax there is a little pump for the cleaning fluid, its a strip down to get to it as its in the motor compartment.. i know this becoz i just stripped it down to clean my motor out...maybe this part is ur problem.. it does not affext the sucking action of the machine.
