My dryer seems to be working, but there's no hot air flowing inside?

The clothes after a full drying cycle are simply wet and cold. I have a Whirlpool LER3624JQ

Check the lint vent on the outside of your house. Run a long wire brush thur the said vent removing all of the lint inside of the vent. Then clean out the accordian 4inch diameter vent hose leading from your dryer to the outside vent. Clean the pull in & out vent screen on the top of your dryer. Place a vaccuum cleaner hose inside of all vent openings & suck out all remaining lint. Then put it all back together. Don't forget to re-attach the gas line to the gas pipe & re-set the cutoff on the gas pipe back to flow. Once everything is back together re-start the dryer & you should have hot air flowing. If that doesn't work get a new thermostat.

I had the same problem and fixed it by swapping the thermostats. I found them easily on espares. But unfortunately they've gone again so I came to this site looking for a longer term fix!
