mayo inside oil filler cap on 51 plate clio?

changed the oil on my daughters 51 plate clio dynamique & noticed the dreaded mayonnaise inside the oil filler cap . the car drives perfect & loses no water etc .dare i say it 'head gasket' or am i just being paranoid ? thanks in advance.

Hi, if she's only doing short journeys it could be just condensation in the engine mixing with the oil as the engine is not getting hot enough to evapourate the condensation, the cheapest way to find out if it is a headgasket problem is to take it to a reputal garage and ask them to do a "sniff" test of the expansion tank with the engine running if there is a problem the fluid will turn from blue to yellow
