clutch pedal goes to the floor on its own?

on my renault master van 2.5 d on 2000 plate.the clutch is ok and then the pedal pulls it self to the floor and then you have to pull it back up to work

its either the master or slave cylinder just pray its the former because the latter is about a grand to put right.
