I have a sony lcd monitor pcva-15xtap2 and the cord will not fit into my computer processor. I have a HP processor standard. Do I need some kind of adapter? What is the least expensive way I can get this to hook up? I've been told the adapter is very costly. This is not the original monitor of course that came with my computer.
