Peugeot boxer engine won't turn?

My Boxer had a flat battery this morning, decided to change it and since fitting I now have all the dash lights as expected but engine won't turn. I suspect this may be to do with the key not being recognised.......any advice?

there is a trip switch under the bonnet i think its red on the boxers. press it in and it should start. i think its around the battery box
