About 2001 Citroen Xzara Picasso Diesel Cambelt?

We bought second hand a Citroen Xzara Picasso Diesel.
Mileage is now at 78K. Is cambelt due a change at 80K miles ??
was told by place i bought it, that it would be at 100k, but not sure, can anyone help with this question?

Hi Tim, the book says 80,000 miles or 10 years which ever is the soonest and if the belt snaps there is a definate possibility of piston to valve damage and a very large repair bill!!!
