how do you get the rear brake drums off a y registered ford transit?

how do you get the rear brake drums off a y registered ford transit. it is a single rear wheel base. i have backed off the hand brake cable and backed off the brake shoes but the drum still wont come off

you have to remove the large center nut with the ford removal tool and pull out the rear axle shaft to gain access
