i have been told that you can remove a trojan if you create a new file using the same name as the trojan then cutting and pasting it to where the trojan is when asked do you want to replace existing file you click on yes could someone please tell me if this works and a step by step explanation of how to do it

Never heard of that !... If you have not got an anti virus program, go to google and look for AVG8.5FREE version... download it and install it.... then "get the latest updates" by using the update manager, then run a "complete scan", which may take 2 or 3 hours, so go for a long walk.... when it is finished AVG will report any virus/trojans it has found, and put them in quarantine for you to dispose of as per instructions...

AVG is FREE (check the options when downloading) and it updates daily for FREE.....

You can schedule it to scan your computer at a specified time every day.... you can still use the computer while it is scanning.
