gearbox sticking in all gears help?

i have a 2004 punto 1.2 8v and the gearbox doesnt engage the gears propely and its sticking in alll gears! where do/ how do check my gearbox oil?

try running through the gears with out the engine running if they seem ok i would suspect the clutch pressure plate is a fault
