How do I clear the filter and drain my Bosch WFB 2004 washing machine

hmmm this is not exactly an answer (well is and isnt) its certainly not a question

basicly the method listed above fixed a problem i was having (the machine wouldnt empty the water) when i opened it it was full of flakes of limescale and bits of (well we`ll call them "stuff" lol) after clearing that up it emptyied perfectly ( i tested it by filling it with water and selecting the P setting (p for pump)

if it was not for this site and the answer above i would be buying a new washing machine and grief thank you

there should be a flap on front of machine which need open and filter in there also will be small drain hose which will slowly empty machine if water still inside
