How can I fix my panasonic DVD/VCR player model NV VHD1B?

The display on the DVD section is showing F498 and I cant do anything at all

Poor soldering of flash rom is most likely. Manufacturers are having to use lead free solder and it doesn't flow well in manufacture, causing this type of problem. It's becoming a real headache.

Flash ROM is IC 37001 btw.
