my dvd player stopped in the middle of a movie and since will not read disks and displays error code DVD H02.

Bad spindle motor & a nightmare to replace as it requires transfer of optical pick-up to the spindle motor chassis and therefore pick-up realignment. Which wouldn't be such a problem but for the poor accessability. I've given up bothering to repair this fault any more.
