Every time we answer or make a call the Belkin router goes off ?

What can we do to repair this frustrating problem! Every time we make or answer a call the Belkin router goes off and we have to reset it. Model FSD7632-4. Have been on the phone to tec center millions of times, and they are no help at all. Our service provider is Talktalk. Can you suggest anything to help?. Or should we just bin it and buy another type?.

Try swapping the filter as suggested. If you mean skype or other internet calls then check to see if there is a setting on the router that adjusts the bandwidth available to VOIP.

All guesswork I'm afraid and I don't know about the filter you get with wireless routers but they usually supply two of them so it's an easy elimination.

Contact Talktalk- they rent the exchange equipment from the 'phone company and there may be a line fault or more probably a fault with the equipment at the exchange - they should be able to get it tested relatively easily.

Regular voice telephone calls do not pass through the router so Belkin are out of the loop as they say.

Good luck...
