my car when is start it the fan belt broke and i replaced it about 2 weeks ago and now when it starts it is squailing and it only stop after i put the revs over 2000 revs why is this

Sounds like you need to retighten the fan belt or if it was a serp belt might look for a loose pulley or bad tensioner
