can anyone help me with the point and timing settings for a ransomes mower fitted with a 250cc mag engine please

The points gap is 15 thou of an inch, and the plug gap is 25 thou. The flywheel should be fixed onto the crankshaft with a metal woodruff key which keeps the timing set....so long as the key is there!
