Have you tried other disks? Or tried a cd.Or try cleaning the disk?.It looks like the lens will need cleaning.A lens cleaning cd will not do because i had one and it broke mine.Open the top cover of the dvd player ( 2-4 screws on side) (2-5 on rear) and pull the cover from the back up towards you then slide out.You will find a metal plate on the dvd drive.Remove this using a small philips screwdriver to gain access to the lens.Using some methylated spirits (the purple liquid) and a cotton bud.Dip the bud into the spirit and in a clockwise rotation clean the lens.wait for it to dry then test.If the problem presists then it could be a major problem.hope this helps.
