are there bands inside the gearbox of a 190 2.5d merc?
gearbox is problamatic on my merc 190 2.5d auto have been told the bands my need tightening in the gearbox itself?is this true?can anybody help?it is a 1987
Don't know for sure,but a lot of older Autos had bands in them (Borg Warner) some you can adjust from the outside of the gear box,others require gearbox removal,have fluid level checked FIRST though.
