Same problem here... just started a week ago. Parts are still covered on warranty for a whole 7 days... I'll have to pay for labor if I take it in.
The problem is with the spindle motor... it needs to be replaced. I am looking all over the net for a upplier but no luck yet. It is a cheap part that is easy to replace with just a couple screwdrivers.

If repair costs are more than $25 it is probably best to just go get a new one... and maybe spend a little more for better quality. I was being a cheapskate when I bought this and got what I paid for...
