how can I fix my bosch clasixx washer?

washer not draining

My Bosch Logixx had this fault a few days ago...

I removed the lower basket and took out the spray arm and filters and used a cup and bucket to clear away the water and then moped up with an old towel.

At the very bottom of the sump area on the left is a single Torx screw.

I took this out and lifted the small plastic cover to expose the blades of the drain pump.

After removing the lemon pips and other debris with tweezers I checked that the pump blades turned by hand - there's a bit of magnetic resistance - put it all back together and it's been ok since then.

It was a ten minute job and very simple if you have the right driver for Torx screws. Let's hope you have a similar fault that's as easy to resolve.

Good luck...
