I have a 19" LG Flatron Slim monitor which has been in use for four years. One morning I turned it on and it was dimmer than usual and was flashing on and off about one to two times a second. The image was still clear and when I changed to an old monitor I ruled out the computer as the problem. I suspect the light source in the monitor is at the end of its life. Does this sound like it is salvageable?
