John Deere no longer handles the green line originally made for Home Depot. The S1400 parts are the same as Echo and Homelite, and located at your local Ace Hardware store. It is very easy to remove the small top four screws, remove the top plate and primer bulb. Extra advice: Buy two, because it's a tough engine and will outlast a few primer bulbs. Also buy a few muffler screws. The only problem with this engine is it's muffler rattles off time to time.
