rangerover 4.6 hse overheating?

my rangerover is overheating i have changed thermostat ,new waterpump,been snifted all ok. still overheating,car will drive about 10 miles before hitting red, hosepipe are pressurized, no cold spots on rad

forgot to add,have you tested the cooling fans as they are a big engine to cool

Who sniff tested it? if you have replaced water pump and thermostat theres not a lot left.my thoughts are if you did either of the above 1st then you would have filled with new coolent so may not have been picked up on a sniff test as the test is only done through the expansion tank.failing that can only be air locked or blockage.flush radiator as suggested and any other part of the cooling system you can,fill it very carefully and slowly and check if it needs a pressure bleed,i cant remember!lets hope it is not the engine as they are a mamoth job to do and test the patience of any good technition.let me know how its going.im not a rangerover technition usually bmw and saab but they are all the same

bleed the radiator, if that dont sort it get a new radiator. it's prob a blockage.
