check the ancillery pully the outer ring is held to the inner core by rubber similer to that used on eng mounts and bushes it can slip moving the timing marks symtoms are low compression flooding everything else will seem normal if you are unconvinced line up timing marks and check btdc

its a petrol started with basics then changed e c u, fuel pressure regulator, cam belt, timings ok spark plugs ,wiring loom, coil,v a f,distributor cap, rotor arm, fuel pump ok fuel flow ok the welding was inner wheel arch at front no wires damaged it fires up now but immediately shutsdown got clifford alarm with immobiliser and auto start wondering now if it has anything to do with that. its an 8 valve seh 2 litre engine.also checked fuses.

depending where you were welding you may have severed a fuel line or wire which has blown a fuse is it diesel or petrol. if engine is turning and there is fuel then it is electoral if there is no fuel then that si ur problem.start with the basics.
