The - empty water - light stays on all the time and the clothes are always wet when they come out even although the water tank is empty.

Hi, At the rear of the machine, bottom right there is a pump assy remove the assy & you will find a polystrene float this float is activated when the water level gets too high. Remove the pump cover & make sure the impellor spins. Refit and try on a cycle, If it is still the same you will require a new pump assy they are about £30 & they can be purchases from www.candmdomesticappliances.co.uk i have used them before & they are very good.
