could it be a crank pick up sensor or cam shaft pick up sensor. as have changed spark plugs, air oil and petrol filters and still sounds like miss firing.idile speed 1100-500 rev flutuates. please help drives like a kangeroo
ive had this sounds daft its prob the ht leads ,,,,they seem to break down on vauxhalls

Has it got the one piece ht unit on the spark plugs instead of leads & a cap. If so these break down, i'v got an astra with the same engine that done exactly the same. I lso done what you have then discovered it was the above unit. Online breakers better than vauxhall as quite pricey.
