I inherited one of these sewing machines and I can't work out how to thread the bobbin underneath so that it sews. I have managed to get the bobbin out and put thread on it but when I put it back the needle jams in it so obviously i'm getting it wrong somewhere. Any ideas?
How do I unjam my Toyota sewing machine model 2700 I was sewing and the needle broke I have removed it but when I press the foot control it just hums

Hello Sarah,
Are you sure it is the bobbin that is causing the problem, take the bobbin out of the bobbin case and turn the balance wheel by hand towards you and see if the needle is hitting the raceway.
