ford mtx75 gearbox knocking when throttling on/off?

when throttling on and off the power delivery is very jerky and has become more and pronounced over time. I have now had 2 driveshafts in the past 1.5 months where the cv joint has gone. are the 2 connected and is there any solution without it costing $$$$? Thanks

Many Thanks Chris. It wouldn't be possible just to replace the shaft instead would it? Do you know if it is common on these gearboxes? I don't really want it to happen again! Thanks for your response.

you gearbox shaft is worn so i would reccommend second hand gearbox
