I have a Hotpoint Aquarius VTD00 tumble dryer. GF has tried to dry a bra and as expected the underwire has come loose and inserted itself through the ventilation holes at the back of the drum.

I have tried removing it with tweezers, pliers, magnet etc but the holes are simplyy too small to get a good grip and it went through entirely so unable to simply grip an end and pull it out.

Is there a way to open the unit up to removed the wire, I am competent with tools just didn't want to start unscrewing things and pulling things out if the drum are was a sealed unit and I was on a fools errand.

Please help save me from the foolishness of women who can't be bothered handwashing their blinkin bra's.
