Mountfield SP470 ~ STARTING PROBLEM?

lawnmower won't start ~ primer bulb no pressure when operated. I have drained and removed the fuel tank and cleaned the carb and reassembled. Still same problem being experienced........HELP

thanks Phil - B&S with carb on the tank engine - will check the carb diaphragm. sorry but Im a total beginer where is the diaphragm located and how do you replace it?????

What engine is fitted? If it's a Briggs carb-on-the-tank engine, I suggest replacing the carb diaphragm. If it's a Briggs with a primer on the FRONT, I suggest a ruptured air-cleaner gasket.

If it's NOT a briggs engine at all, come back here and I'll advise.
