how to change fork seals?

easy way to change fork seals on kawasaki gpz 500s
james, May 2009
Really the only way is to drop out each fork leg and put it on the bench...the stanchion (chrome sliding bit) is easily damaged if you try to shift the seals without removing it. There is usually an allen bolt up into the fork leg, accessible through the wheel spindle area, which releases things once the fork spring has been released by undoing the top fork nut.
