how do you change the code on a peugeot 306 immobiliser keypad?

I already have the old code but have been told you can change it but handbook does not tell you how

once the code has been set it cant be changed i have looked inot this loads as i have a cr*ppy one. the only thing you can do is to get a new keypad and part of you ecu as they are linked by the code this basically costs the same as if you forget the number at a pug garage it costs about 150 quid. hope this helps

Try this...

Entre existing code (red light goes to green)
press C button
Entre new 4 digit code
Press C button again (4 beeps heard to confirm code)
New code now active.
