Hello,
I have been given a bernina 730 old sewing machine and I want to try out the buttonholer, I see where the little thing at the side moves up for this, and on the Dial on the front it says pull down the lever? How does the lever come down? I dont want to force it.
can anyone help please

the foot control seam to be stuck as the machine gose on its own do i need a new foot or can i get it repaired

If you can't get the lever down then it is stuck somewhere.
