Iveco engine in Santana PS10?

The engine starts and runs ok until you go down hill, when it cuts out any throttle response until you get on the flat or go uphill. the engine will then cut in again with a vengance if you have the throttle depressed trying to get it to run. Has anyone else had this experience.

This problem is caused by the high pressure fuel pump on the engine,It is a very easy job to remove the pump approx 20>30 mins,

You will more than likely have to renew the pump, but remember to remove the drive gear from the old one as this does not come with a replacement pump
