my gainsborough electric shower 7.2 kw will not get hot. The switch indicator light is on but is not very faint. The indicator on the unit will not come on and the water does not get hot. What it causing this?

you will need to replace all the insde components of the shower
i had the same with my one & it cost me oly £10.00 more to buy a complete new shower.
not really worth fixing to be honest &
the price i was quoted for parts only was £77.50.
that's if i fitted it myself so i went off to b&q & got a new shower for £89.00
