my compaq computer froze up. so i restarted it and it came back to the black screen where you can choose to go into safe mode and couple other choices. but it does not matter which one i pick it just brings me back to the black screen..with the same choices i can use f8 and go into advance but. i can not get my windows to load up.. i have windows xp pro.. i need hep
Sounds like Windows is corrupted. You may have to restore your system from either: Partition on your hard drive, or from original installation disks. If not sure take it to someone who knows
