Catamaran chainplate?
I have a little 16ft catamaran, the port chainplate for the forestay of which pulled out. The chainplate enters the deck at 90 degrees to the skin of the hull, and is/was not fixed to the outer skin. My problem is that there is no access hatch in the deck, into the watertight forward part of the hull, and I am unwilling to cut one. How do I reattach the chainplate? Ideas?
