Ferguson VCR FV3B?

Just bought a bigger (standard) tv. Have lost manual for VCR and cannot remember how to get test signal up on telly to install video channel. I know its really simple but I cannot recall it. Can anyone help please?

I think that there is a little slider switch on the back of the VCR.
