No power until 3 to 4,000 revs?

Hi,
I have a 1999 Kawasaki ZX6R ninja. Its the G2 model. Its starts first time everytime. The choke works as it should. It idles without any missing or eratic running. The only extra fitted is a Remus titanium end can.Otherwise its 100% standard.
When pulling away it feels as though its going to stall ( cut out ) but as soon as it gets to 3 to 4,000 revs its perfect right up to the rev limiter.( if you want to )
Can you help please, its driving me nuts.
Thanks
Wil

Thanks Steo,
Remus recon that no jet uprade is needed for this system as its made specifically for my bike.I will however get the coils checked over.
Thanks for your info.
regards
Wil

Hi Wil, the sports exhaust could well be making the bike run lean & hence the sluggish start, did you up-jet for it? if not you increase the jet size by 10% so if there's a size 100 in it, go up to 110.
Another possibility could be your ht coils are faulty, i've seen this happen especially on CBR's were owners have replaced carbs, ecu's, reg/recs & it turned out to be the coils.
