Sony Scart Socket Flicker?

I have a 1999 Widescreen Sony Triritron. At the back there are 2 inputs for scart cables (I use scart 1 for satellite and 2 for games and DVD because the satellite decoder does not like sharing a socket). Recently the scart 2 channel has started to flicker and can even go off, it is particularly bad when vibrations go through the floor such that even walking past the TV can set the signal off so i think the problem is the scart coming loose from the TV. This can be put right by reaching behid and putting the cable right in (not ideal given its weight) but it seems to loosen again before too long and flicker again. I have since switched to using the S Video at the front but this is not ideal as I now have a cable out the front of my TV 24/7 and I have noticed the same flickering. It has also screwed up which channel the TV wants to use for the satellite as it no longer selects scart 1 automatically. Ideally I would like to return to using both scarts, is there a way to fix the scart socket or at least a decent way to keep it from coming loose?

If handy with a soldering iron I would switch off the t.v and resolder both the sockets (careful not to bridge joints by being to generous with the solder infact in most cases you may just need to heat the joint causing the solder to reflow) and try again but you may still have another bad solder joint connection or plug/socket connection and can narrow it down by lightly tapping with an insulated instrument with the power on but be careful of voltages as they are dangerous.
