No power hp pavillion 7940?

Hi I have a old 7940 which has not been used for about 4 yrs it was working fine. Just tried starting it up an nothing only thing I can see happening is the green light by the power lead flickers on and then stays off.
Any Ideas anyone.

Sounds like your PSU (Power Supply Unit) is defunct.

New one about £40 and easy to fit
