This machine was working ok, then suddenly just stopped. It seems to be jammed, nothing moves and can not be moved by hand. The light is on so I assume power is getting through. It is an older model but has not had a lot of use and appears to be in good condition. Well lubricated and clean.

Hello Brenda,
When you press on the foot control if you get a buzzing sound then there is a chance that there is a piece of thread stuck round the raceway, take out the bobbin case and drop the gate down. take out the half moon shape race and find the piece of thread.
