wireless wonrt work?

hi, heres the situation, i have recently had to reboot my fujitsu siemens laptop, and niw my wireless wont work, it use to work by pressing the FN and F1 button, but now i cant get them to work. and i was told to try putting in the drivers and utilities disk and install the launch manager, but this didnt work. any ideas, before i smash the thing? thanks mel

Navigate from control panel to Network Connections

If you see a wireless icon then you have the driver - if you don't see a wireless icon then install the driver again.

If the wireless icon has a cross on it, right click and select View Available Wireless Networks

You may see your own wireless router and ones in houses nearby - select and connect to your own.

It works for me...
