How do I open top of Hoover Whisper AAA 1600 washing machine?!
There are some small bolts holding lid on which are inaccessible using a normal spanner - do I need a specialist tool?

Look at the rear of the washing machine and you will see just under the top three 7mm hexagonal headed screws. Undo all three and slide the top towards you (to the rear) and it comes away.
