how can i fix my hotpoint aquarious 1100?

when i wash it does its usual cycle but the water does not drain its self out like normal what do i do

could be a blockage in the filter or waste pipe if its draining slowly take small panel off the back filter will be in pipe directley out of the tub if not this try the pump.
