My fridge (installed in a campervan) has stopped working on 12 v. It works fine on gas and on mains. The fuse is OK and all other electrics are working. The red 12 v on/off switch on the fridge is not on even with engine running fully. Are there any known faults or obvious places to start fault finding?

Check the 12v heater eliment for power to it and continuity of the element
